April Bowlby has been an American actor and model for more than 20 years. She has been known for her role as Kandi on the CBS comedy series Two and a Half Men Stacy Barrett on Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr on Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. The actress is most famous for her role in the roles of Stacy Barrett and Kandi on Two and a Half Men as well as Drop Dead Diva, a show that is a comedy, legal and fantasy. Her career began with modeling, and then she moved onto TV and films. She made her first appearance on a small screen, as an extra for the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. It then led to appearances in individual episodes of other series. Her breakthrough performance was Kandi as Kandi in Two and a Half Men. Bowlby has received worldwide acclaim because of her performance as Stacy Barrett, in the successful series Drop Dead Diva. She played Rita Farr/Elastigirl. She was a frequent character in the American show Titans. She will play the role in a upcoming spinoff of Doom Patrol. Bowlby has appeared in TV movies like Sands of Oblivion or The Wrong Daughter. After her roles in The Slammin Salmon (which was her debut feature) along with From Prada, to Nada she made her debut on the big screen in All Roads Lead Home. Bowlby was born in Manteca and attended East Union High School. Prior to deciding on a career in acting her studies included French as well as ballet in Moorpark College. She took drama classes at Ivanachubbuck. She was offered a role on an important TV show (Kandi) in just two months after an audition in Hollywood audition. Bowlby played a part as a guest in a variety of TV series like CSI: NY with Jenny Lee and Freddie (as Sydney) in 2005. Also, she appeared in Meg as part of How I Met Your Mother. Bowlby is currently playing the role of Natasha as a twelve year old girl in the film All Roads Lead Home. The 2007 movie revolves around a little girl losing her mother after an accident in the car. Bowlby will be starring as Mia as she appears as well in The Slammin Salmon (2008). She is from Los Angeles. Naturally red hair and blue eyes. The couple isn't married and has no children.
