Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, performer and actress well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her acting career on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Later, in 1956, she had her breakthrough with a performance on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. That same year, she released Her first album, It's Time to Tina. Louise began her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was an enormous hit and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. As students of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her next memorable role came from 1964, when she enrolled with CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise was able to balance her career in between Broadway TV and Hollywood, portraying more somber roles, as contrast to her image of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years she's also been a popular director for well-known TV series like Supernatural or The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28th 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was just three which is where she spent the rest of in the adolescent years and childhood. When she was chosen to play the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and has lived there from then on.
