Zoe-perry

Perry was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). On the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as as seen through flashback) Her mother portrayed Jackie Harris in two of Perry's early TV appearances. But her parents would not permit her to perform until she was an adult due to the effects stress would affect their child. Perry claims she never wanted to perform in highschool but decided to start acting as a social activity at Northwestern University when she switched from Boston University. Perry moved to New York, where she got small roles on shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Homesickness then brought Perry her back home California which was where theatre jobs were readily available. In 2013 she performed in The Other Place on Broadway with her mother. In the year 2015, she was with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning Drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. In 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes on ABC's drama The Family. Her father played her character in her role on the ABC show Scandal. In the same year, she appeared as a younger model of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory), portraying her mother as a young version. The role was given to her through audition, regardless of the fact that she has a family tie with the character.
